Winter Workshop

Merry Christmas Everyone!! I hope you an yours had a very merry Christmas and are keeping warm in this cold burst we are experiencing. I saw in the Indy Star yesterday that it was warmer at the South Pole than in Indy. Brr!

We have good number of people signed up for the workshop already!! This is very exciting! I am looking forward to this very much as is the rest of board. I want to take this time to answer a few questions and explain a bit more of what is going to happen to clear a few things up.

The day will have 4 sessions broken up into about 45 min blocks to discuss various topics that are listed at the discussion tables. (to see topics click here.) These are just the topics and there will be no set format for discussion. Our vision for this is peer led, and to discuss what is important to you; think of this question: what do you do well and what do you need help with? The topics listed are the ones you and the APCL community wanted to discuss. I sent out a survey a few months ago and these 7 topics are the most requested. There will be extra space available for side conversations and any topic that may come up during the day.

We want this to be open and free flowing, led by those who are present at the workshop sharing ideas and collaborating on topics that are important to you. When you sign up you will receive an email to confirm your registration with a brief outline of the day and where to send your checks for payment.

We will have coffee and a morning spread of goodies when you arrive between 9:30 and 10am at St. Agnes. We will begin promptly at 10:00am to respect everyone's time. We will also have a lunch provided for you. The two greatest things in the world: coffee and food. The registration fee covers the cost of these items.

We ask that you sign up no later than January 12, 2018. This way we can make the final arrangements necessary to make this day as wonderful as possible.  Please email Zach or Chris if you read this after that date and still want to come. (click on names or go to the Contact Us on the website.)

Coffee and good conversation about the work we do for the Church in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, what more could you ask for?  I look forward to seeing you there.

If you have anymore questions, please leave them in the comments or email us apclindianapolis@gmail.com.
